Top right corner is ink marked VC flag-captured YS 452-494 (map coordinates) 14 December 1968, long HAI RVN. 3rd Mobil strike force command. Paul Wunsch 5th special forces SFGA 1st SF

It is noted that the flag was removed from a glued display board. Edges only were glued, did not affect the flag any  Chance to own a real documented right from the vet 1968 Viet cong flag, silk and rayon construction. Very large flag

Viet Cong lamp hooch or tunnel lamp, made from ordnance/ artillery shell, only one I have ever found like this, modified to hold lamp oil with wick, very unusual , this is an original captured piece. Show honest war use and was bought from the Rogers collection years ago, very rare piece

I bought a captured nva back pack years ago , this was in the sewn on pocket on the back of the pack . I have been told this may be a french indochina ground sheet .

NVA ISSUE FIGHTING KNIFE

Nva issue knife with original sheath, snap on sheath is missing, sheath is in very good condition. Knife shows pitting and has been rehandled at some point in its life the handle is not the montagnard type of work that was common for a while, this one is done well and with steel rivet's same size as the original brass rivets


These are getting hard to find anymore, with original sheath

There are other words and descriptions that my eyes are not good enough to see them.

ORIGINAL WAR TIME MONTAGNARD CERMONIAL HAND MADE TRIBAL SWORD. EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP

This is not one of the souvenir swords you see.
Please look close, this sword is excellent workmanship, sword is a weapon or ceremonial sword. Maker marked and is excellent condition.
Scabbard shows some age and handling marks., has brass accouterments. This swords are very rare, most often one sees the souvenir type, not the real ones

These are very rare and the earliest original Russian mag's ever made. These were supplied to the North Vietnamese by Russia

100% WAR TIME CAPTURED VC PISTOL BELT A RARE AND HARD TO FIND BELT

I removed this belt from a captured type 54 toke pistol and holster. I kept it for years; interesting thing is they were common captured item in the advisor period of the war. Real deal
I did a research project with several other of my collector group. We had all had one or more of these in our collections. We all started looking for who when and where.
The best we came up with is these were early ww1 or ww2 Chinese made belts, we found no direct link to this belt or the buckle.
These were used by the VC and with the amount of them we found must have been supplied by a government to the VC or North Vietnam for distribution to the VC in the south

Vietnam 21st Nov 1963 to 3 Nov 1964
4 Oct. 1967 to 31 Jan 1968
Served 20 years and retired a CWO3. Started out as enlisted in infantry in 1954, trained as medic, moved up to special forces and then on to graduate flight school for helicopters. Served 2 ½ tours in Vietnam received 3 purple heart commendations, 1st was for a punji pit injury and 2nd for being shot down by a sniper while flying helicopter during a rescue mission in 1963. Sniper shot out his left shoulder but Joe managed to crash land the helicopter safely with no casualties. He recovered enough motion in his shoulder to be recertified and resumed flying and was transferred to the canal zone retired in 1977
Joe W Hill received The Bronze Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with V device, Combat Medic Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 campaign stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal with 60 device . national defense medal and many others

RARE NVA RAIN COAT
ONE OF 3 THAT WERE BROUGHT BACK FROM THE WAR . ALL WERE IN ONE BOX, THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST CONDITION ONES

The coats were just roomer until these were discovered
One of the rarest NVA items, this is an original north Vietnamese military issue rain coat. Take a look these are real hard to come by. This one is real nice
