VERY EARLY CAMBODIAN FLAG

Very rare flag, before the Khmer flag, when the royal family were asking for help from the communist. this flag is made in Russia, and is so marked, extremely rare captured flag  

A beautiful hand made original Laos flag, hand drawn on elephants, cut out and sewed on to read cloth. This is a correct war time flag of Laos
from Indochina Militaria  

North Vietnamese made copy of a Russian or communist block countries AK mag pouch, this is not Chinese made. only one I have ever found, the wood toggles are larger than the usual Chinese wood toggles, well made item

The very best Captured Ruck Sack I have ever found, look close at the front and back . its salty , captured and documented, has vets dd-214, was B Company -158th Lancer Airmobile ,, out of a large group of capture items , from Indochina militaria . SUPER NEAT

DEGTYAREV LIGHT MACHINE GUN DRUM POUCH

From the same group as the ruck sack , captured and brought back by the same person, B-S (Bac Si) means doctor in Vietnamese, this was used as a medics bag , its a Chinese copy of a Russian drum pouch, a Chinese copy like this is extremely rare 

KIA VC SPECIAL FORCES CAPTURED GROUP

This great group of captured items came from a Special Forces vet, He acquired this from a Nam Special Forces Vet. The SF that captured this group from a KIA VC was Robert Tate , he was with B-36, 1968. , every item in the group is outstanding , rare Markrovf Chinese holster, the hammock is made from a rayon type material ,nice original sandals , the khaki shirt is short sleeve , canteen has bullet hole . the flag is blood stained and is silk, thrilled to have this group for the collection

SPECIAL FORCE CAPTURED BOOBY TRAP

This was brought back by Robert Tate , b -36, the date it was captured was 5-11-1960, it seems it was picked up to bring home from where it had been stored or used for training, this item came home in 1969, has a spring loaded firing hammer that is held in place with a pin that hooks to a trip wire, when someone hit the trip wire it pulled the pin and the hammer hi the pipe and set off the powder, looks like a shot gun type of booby trap, must have used anything that would be considered shrapnel , known as a grape shot weapon, it was loaded with anything the VC could find, glass, seeds, rocks, metal shavings, it was active with a trip wire or lanyard.

Very rare to find any original pictures, named with captured vc and there unit and history of where and when this is a real nice find

CAPTURED BOTTLE 

This bottle is from a group of bottles that were brought back by a Special Forces veteran who found them in a VC bunker .from Jason Hardy collection. I did the research on the bottle, its from a US company called Nagline, they were the first company to ever produce medical grade plastic bottles. The date code on the bottle is from the early 1960's. There were a bunch of these in the bunker. Use unknown

In my opinion the most unique tunnel lamp I have ever found, just like it came out of the tunnel , found in a box with some really beat up used tiger stripe uniform , from the Alamo in St Louis , made from what looks to be an old pant can with a brass bullet to contain the wick . Original dirt.

vet bring back, very old antique oil lamp lamp was in a group of items from a vets estate, very unique item, history unknown

Poster, propaganda, Chu Hoi program to encourage NVA and VC soldiers to surrender, I only have seen this one that is why it is obscured so it cannot be reproduced

Captured in 1964 come with large group of documentation, including dd-214 of vet and pictures on cd of vet and his AOA and his Vietnamese soldiers

Flag is correct in everyway, has what looks to be bullet holes in the flag, letter from vets son about the flag and his father. Dont get any better than this

DOCUMENTED LANYARD AND ALUMINUM WHISTLE

Taken from VC or NVA casualty of the attack on NHA Trang, RVN during the 1968 TET offensive. Troops of the 18b north Vietnamese regiment and local Viet Cong units were the attacking forces in this action. Letter of documentation from captain who commanded the nung security forces. This item was retrieved after the battle was over , letter is from captain Michael Wm. Kasner 67-68

VETERAN BRING BACK

This was acquired from a museum in Chicago, the volo museums was needing to sell some of the items for renovations. This was donated to the museum by a vets daughter in law, 25th INF DIv , no history known of capture. The bayonet is from a SKS and this is well made and fits the scabbard well to make a sword

VERY RARE DOCUMENTED ORIGINAL BUGLE WITH PENNANT

This item was purchased from the volo museum. It comes with the letter documentation of the history of the item and the vet that donated it to the museum, the bugle is marked in Vietnamese , Saigon. The pennant is period correct and looks to have been on the bugle a long time. This would have been offered back to the veteran but he is now deceased
